In the heart of the Eden Valley, Stonetrail Farm offers luxury self catering accommodation with great facilities for visitors seeking a walking, mountain bike or horse riding holiday. Open all year and available for weekend, mid week and week long breaks, our three cottages can accommodate up to 16 making us an ideal location for cosy couples, families or groups.

We are located at the foot of Wild Boar fell and the Howgill Fells and within a few minutes walk of the Pennine Bridleway, Englands latest long distance trail. Still close enough to enjoy the attractions of the Lake District, our quieter location (midway between Sedbergh and Kirkby Stephen) offers a fabulous selection of days out for all ages and our onsite facilities make us a great holiday location for an activity break. Walkers can choose to follow one of our walking routes or you can take to the fells on one of our mountain bikes.

We also offer horse riding treks & riding holidays with livery facilities for your own horse. Our extensive knowledge of the local bridleways mean we can provide excellent advice on the best routes. If you are feeling less energetic this is also a great place to sit back and just enjoy the peace and quiet.
