You'll find Wilf's Café tucked away at the back of Staveley Mill Yard, offering good food in a tranquil, riverside setting with decking overlooking the River Kent – as well as plenty of room inside for when the weather is less kind. Our menu has something for everyone, and we pride ourselves on a fast, friendly service.

The small village of Staveley is situated between Kendal and Windermere and provides a great base for walking or cycling with a maze of quiets routes including access to the beautiful Kentmere valley.

With our link door through to Hawkshead Beer Hall you can order your food from us and we will deliver it to you in the bar or bring your pint through to us!

Much more than just a Café... We are available for hire in the evenings for functions needing food - for a big party venue we are linked to Hawkshead Beer Hall! If you have enjoyed our meals at the Café we have a ‘Wilf’s Away’ menu of the favourites and we also provide buffets for 10 - 200 people for any sort of function, delivered free locally to your venue.
