Parma Violet can be found on the Main Street in the wonderfully quaint Victorian market town of Kirkby Lonsdale in Cumbria (less than 1/2 an hour's drive from the Lake District), together with many other specialist shops and cafes.

It was dreamt of long before it was born (some dreams really do come true!) and when the doors finally opened in April 2005, Parma Violet was at last able to reveal its eclectic mix of gifts, toys and homewares.

It is here, on its two floors, that you will find FUNKY alongside RUSTIC, PINK together with QUIRKY and VINTAGE nestling next to FUN! From collectable children's Ladybird books and Emma Bridgewater china to French enamel soap dishes and beautiful Willow wreaths, we really do have all you are looking for to breathe life into any home!

We hope that you will be able to visit the shop in person, but we also offer some items to buy through mail order. Expect lovely packaging and a little something extra as standard with every order placed! I hope you have fun looking.

In case anyone is wondering, the shop used to be run as an old sweet shop ... hence it's name!
