Wander gently into the picturesque Lakeland village of Hawkshead and one of the first welcoming sights to greet you is Poppi Red, a fantastic display of pink and scarlet among the whitewashed cottages, slate roofs and cobbled streets. You are drawn in by the fantastic colours, seductive sounds of jazz swing, and the enticing smell of freshly ground coffee.
Often in the shop you'll be met by Kim Merrick, proprietor, buyer and inspiration behind Poppi Red. Poppi Red offers the ultimate shopping experience, with cheery staff - all local from the village - and service as it used to be in a beautifully laid out shop. You can meander around and see something different every time you visit.
Partners can relax in the café with a drink and a fresh sandwich or scrummy cakes baked in a local farmhouse. The café is licensed, so on warm days have a glass of wine, beer or a refreshing Pimms; in the winter, enjoy a glass of hot mulled wine.
Pottery, jewellery, scarves, knitwear, cushions, unusual books and cards - unique ideas to delight friends, loved ones and, of course, yourself!

Unlike a card scheme, we’re not trying to capture your data – we’re trying to captivate you! Our stamps don’t expire, so you’ll have plenty of time to savour the special offers which reflect the unique collection of places featured on the site… champers on ice, midnight feast hampers and free bags of calf feed to name a few!
You decide what it’s worth! After our small admin fee of £5, every penny goes to a charity of your choice; something close to your heart. We'll then share Classified Inspiration about your charity with our online communities on Facebook and Twitter, giving much needed exposure to great causes throughout the UK. It’s up to you!
