The menus are traditional in the sense that they offer a warming array of home cooked dishes that you'll know and love, yet they’re brilliantly perfected beyond the norm by Chef Patron, Terry Quinn and team. Dishes are freshly prepared to order using good quality local ingredients, sourced from trusted suppliers in the area including delicious cuts of meat, seasonal vegetables and cheeses. And if you can find space for a pudding after your generously proportioned main course, you won’t be disappointed. Look out for the ‘Lister Loves’ board hung above the fireplace for dishes of the day.

Being owned by Thwaites ensures that there is always a ready supply of fine cask ales on offer. You'll also find guest ales from like-minded brewers, as well as the Thwaites Signature Range created by Head Brewer Steve Fielding, to complement the seasons.
